I interviewed longbow instructor Terry for the latest issue of Bushcraft Magazine UK. This will be the 8th article I have written for this prestigious magazine, and the work is ongoing.

Terry lives on a narrowboat like me and we’ve known each other for a decade. He was kind enough to teach my son how to shoot a longbow into a straw target.

The funniest part was Terry’s tale of putting on all his leather protective gear, which looks fairly gothic, then rushing into Tesco to get very strange looks from the cashier!

My first article for Bushcraft Magazine was an interview with Arctic exploration team the Sub Zero Crew.
I write for them on foraging…for example on eating Snails, Thistles, and on making Wild Flours from nuts and seeds I forage.
Stay tuned for my next article on Edible Flowers….

Hi Kat, Great article. I’ve only just subscribed to the magazine and this appears just as I’m looking around for a new bow. Does Terry take commissions ?
Best regards Alec

Hi Alec,
Terry only makes a few bows for his own use as a hobby, but I can ask him for you!
