Get out in the winter with this half day course on how to identify trees in winter. We’ll be walking up through beautiful Meadows to Plantation Wood, where we’ll meet classic woodland trees and some exotic trees too.

We’ll be getting stuck in doing bark/leaf rubbings and looking at buds, features and shape to work out which trees are which. We’ll talk about the folklore and uses of these venerable trees.

Back at the pub, we’ll snuggle up and join in a fun Tree ID pub quiz. There’s food available and plenty of lovely walks (canal, Linslade Woods, the River Ouzel, or Greensand Way if you want to make a full day of it.

Suitable for families, though recommended for children 5 and up as there is a 20 minute walk to the wood. Family friendly prices too!
